In 2011 the Anthony Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted to disassociate the Chamber from the Leap Year Festival as the organizing entity.

 

The Chamber does not have the people or the financial resources to organize this unique event. 

 

The Chamber continues to believe that this is a worthwhile event for the two communities of Anthony, New Mexico and Anthony, Texas and has offered to provide available support to the new organizers.
